WPC Rally 14 CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER
Today's rally has been cancelled due to the severe weather. As it is unsafe to travel in the high

WPC Closed Gymkhana and prizegiving
Well done to all the award receiptents and place getters at the Closed Gymkhana and prize giving. I hope the cups are now taking pride of place on mantlepieces. A number of trophy getters were unable to attend - Please contact Michele or Rebecca if you would like to collect your trophy.
Our final event for the year will be held on Saturday April 14th. Entry form is available here. Many of the branch cups are decided at this event so make sure you come along and have go.

WPC Team for Area SJ - Nominations now closed
Riders wishing to represent WPC at the Area SJ teams event need to get their nomination form and the $5-00 fee to Rebecca before January 16th. There are already nominations recieved from two very organised riders.
The event is being held at WPC grounds on January 28th.
Teams consist of 6 riders with 2 at each level:
Introductory - Height 60cm & 70cm Ponies & Hacks
Intermediate - Height 80cm & 90cm Ponies & Hacks
Senior - Height 1m & 1.05m Ponies
Senior - Height 1.05m & 1.10m Hacks
If a trial is required it will be held in the evening on Wednesday January 18th.
Riders entering the Senior classes must ride in both heights to be eligible for selection for the TAPC team for the Horse of the Year. they must also complete a TAPC nomination form and supply the correct nomination fee. These must also go to Rebecca by the above due date.

Closed Dressage results 2011
Well done to everyone who rode at the closed dressage. Thankfully the weather was kind to us. I hope everyone enjoyed their day and came away with a ribbon or two. Please remember to get your nomination for the WPC team at the Area Dressage event to Rebecca this coming week.

XC nights 2011/12
XC nights are due to start again shortly with the coming of daylight savings. Back protectors are required to be worn by anyone wishing to ride on the grounds on Thursday nights regardless of whether you intend to jump. $10-00 per horse.The course will be open on October 27th from 5pm
to 7pm.

Registration Day Augsut 13 2011
Registration for the 2011-12 Season will be taken on August 13th 10am-12pm at the WPC clubrooms. All new and returning members need to have completed forms and money to our secretary by 12pm on this day. A second hand gear sale will also be run so bring along your excess gear labelled with your name and price as well as your wallet as you might bag a bargin.
If you are unable to attend on the 13th please send your forms and money to Michele to arrvie before 12pm on this date.

Helmet Tags
A reminder that this year NZPCA requires all approved safety helemts to be checked and tagged. Your helemt must be tagged for you to use it at any NZPCA event including rallies. This also applies to adults and casual members. Only your branch head coach or gear inspector can attach the tag. Please bring your helmet to Registration day so Rebecca can check and tag it before the first rally.
WPC Grounds Keys for 2011/12
All the paddlocks at the grounds have been replaced over winter. Your old key will not open any of the gates to the grounds. You need to return your old key along with the completed key hire form and bond in order to get a new key at registration day. if you do not provide all of this
